For Partners and Distributors
Better Trial Management: Auto-Subscription Account status in the Partner Portal
Simplify account management and reduce noise during the trial-to-subscription transition with improvements to trial management for Partner. To avoid confusion and keep the partner dashboards clean and accurate, accounts with auto-subscriptions will:
• No longer receive trial expiration emails
• Not be flagged as “expiring trials” in the Partner Portal
Customized Onboarding for New Partners
Reduce onboarding time for your new partners with a customized welcome email. Choose to send it via the Partner Portal or REST API v2. This email includes helpful information for quick onboarding, such as:
• Login and password setup instructions.
• How-to for account setup and customer onboarding.
• Helpful support and documentation links.
Self-Service Backup Radar Setup with Report Type Selection
Integrate and harness Backup Radar's capabilities with a few clicks directly via the Partner Portal (without waiting on support). Moreover, you can also self-select your preferred reporting style, task-level or item-level.
For MSPs without Partner Portal access, report configuration remains available via support.
Task-level reporting
Backup Radar monitors all clients of a partner and reports backup health at the task level.
How it works: If 3 out of 100 Exchange users in a task fail to back up, the entire task is reported as a Warning in Backup Radar.
Mailbox/Site-level reporting
Backup Radar monitors all clients of a partner and reports backup health at the mailbox or site level.
How it works: If 3 out of 100 Exchange users in a task fail to back up, only those 3 users are reported as Failed in Backup Radar. The remaining 97 users are reported as Success.
