Recurring Credit Card Payments for New Subscribers Billed Annually
New customers who want to be billed annually can now provide a credit card for automatic, recurring, payments, as we do with monthly payments today. (The option to pay by invoice is still also available.)
Dynamic Currency Pricing on the Forecast/Subscription Page
Trial subscribers can now switch currencies and see a forecast of their monthly or yearly charges in their preferred currency – discounts will be calculated and applied accordingly.
Bulk Activate your Google Workspace Backups by Organizational Unit
Save your Admin’s time and effort with bulk activation that automatically backs up data that belongs to members of your organizational units. No need to manually add new employees. Simply place them in a Google organizational unit, and CloudAlly will automatically start backing up their data. (Psst! Just in case you missed it – you can also bulk activate MS Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive backups.)
South Africa Data Center
|
Howzit, South Africa, we've added a new data center here! Easily comply with local data sovereignty and regulatory laws with nine data centers worldwide - in Africa (South Africa), Asia-Pacific (Australia and Tokyo), Europe (Dublin, Frankfurt, Paris), North America (Canada, US), and the UK. The new region is called "Africa (Cape Town)". |
Improved Security with Fine(r)-grained Permissions
As a system administrator, you want complete control over who sees which information. To facilitate this, we have separated the "View account security audit page" permission, which contains sensitive data, from the permission to view the less sensitive Jobs and the System Activity pages. This, in addition to our fine-grained permissions, is especially helpful for organizations with multiple admins.
Enhanced UX for Recovery
We've spruced up the Recovery page for a more efficient and cleaner Recovery experience. We've visually separated out the two recovery options “via snapshot” and “via search" for better clarity. Easily choose to recover data by date (via snapshot) or by searching for a keyword (name, email address, etc.).
Partner and Distributor Highlights
Cancel Accounts Directly from the Partner Portal
Prior to this release, Partners who wanted to cancel customer's subscription could only do so from the customer account directly. To simplify this process, customer account cancellation is now available directly from the Partner Portal dashboard.
Distributors - Facelift of Reseller's Dashboard Page
To improve the daily work of our Distributors in the Partner Portal, we performed a facelift of the Reseller's customers table, and improved the table’s look & feel. We also added the option to search for a customer by name or email address, and to filter the table by account, backup, or billing status. It also includes quick navigation directly to the customer billing status page.
Activate All your Microsoft 365 Backups with One Click! (For Partners and their Customers Only)
Maximize Your Productivity. Use our new One-Click Activation feature to set up your customers’ Microsoft backup tasks with one click. Instead of activating Microsoft 365 backups for Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams & Groups one at a time, the One-Click Activation feature enables you to activate all of your Microsoft 365 backups at once.
Automate Reseller Enrollment with Improved Distributers' REST API
We have simplified the process of creating a new Reseller account for Distributers via REST API by removing the manual step of password setup using the reset-password link. Distributers can now fully automate the process of enrolling Resellers by using the new "reseller admin password” parameter.
