Automatically Detect Google Workspace Data in both Primary and Secondary Domains
A secondary domain can be helpful to manage accounts with distinct domains, but within the same Google Workspace administrative setting. Previously, customers with users’ data in secondary domains needed to contact CloudAlly Support to set up their backups. Now, when customers create a new Google Workspace backup task, CloudAlly will automatically detect data stored both in their primary and secondary domains. Couldn’t be easier!
Ensure Compliance by Restricting Access to Sensitive Backups
Increasingly stringent data privacy laws mandate a strict "need-to-know" basis for data access. You can now restrict access to sensitive content in your backed up files while still allowing access to start or pause a backup.
CloudAlly now gives Primary users the ability to tag backups – a Microsoft Exchange mailbox, a Microsoft Group or Team, a SharePoint or OneDrive site, a Google Workspace User or Shared Drive, or a Box or Dropbox user – as having “Limited Access.” This prevents secondary users from browsing or recovering the data, but they can still pause backups or perform an on-demand backup. Stay compliant with the latest data privacy laws and mitigate the risk of data breaches with CloudAlly.
Support for “Team Spaces” - the Latest Dropbox Upgrade
At CloudAlly, we keep pace with the upgrades and enhancements of the SaaS platforms we back up, so you always get full-coverage and secure data protection. We now support the most recent Dropbox Business update that transitioned folders to “Team Spaces.” CloudAlly adjusted both its sharing settings – to ensure that only users with permissions can access recovered files – and its handling of files in the root directory, which are now backed up into a new Team Space folder.
Ensure 100% Backup with Backup Task Activation Alert – Now for Microsoft 365, Box, Dropbox, and Google
CloudAlly can only backup all your Microsoft 365, Box, Dropbox, Google Workspace and Google Shared Drive data after you activate a backup. We do not automatically activate all mailboxes so that you only pay for backing up data that you require to be secured. In response to customer requests to be alerted of the same to avoid missing out on activating required backups, we now have added explicit backup activation alerts on the Homepage. Ensure 100% backup with timely alerts.
Partner Portal Highlights
Harness Data Insights with Exportable Usage Reports
Harness valuable customer insights with the ability to export usage reports as CSV files. The files will not only list all the entities that were backed up, but also the status of each entity (active, paused, or archived). For Microsoft Exchange, the data will also identify the licensed and unlicensed mailboxes. Previously this was only available via a Support call, but now as a reseller, you can access this information directly with the click of a button on the Dashboard page.
Get Better Billing Visibility with Consolidated Invoice Downloads
Get clearer visibility of your customers' billing history with CloudAlly's new downloadable consolidated invoices. Download a detailed CSV file listing of your customers' paid, consolidated invoices, with the charges broken down per customer. Improve customer billing tracking and usage monitoring.
Note: The CSV report is only available for newly paid, consolidated invoices/receipts.
Optimize Lead Nurturing with Trial Reports
Nurture your trial customers to subscription with regular email reports on your trial customers. Now you can send automatic email reports about the status of all those enrolled in Trials to specific recipients (and not only to the primary Partner Portal user). Provide timely insights to pre-sales and marketing teams to efficiently nurture trials to a paid subscription.
Enhanced Monitoring with Finer-Grained Partner Portal Security Audit
View a more fine-grained list of security-related events that your customers performed for optimal security insights. This includes adding a new trial account, subscribing an account, changing the account name, accessing a customer's account, updating billing details, updating partner portal settings, user managements settings, and notification settings.
